While searching for clues in the woods, you can either accept or refuse an offer from Margrit to stop your investigation and tell Niellen his wife is dead.Īssuming you continue, you eventually find out that Niellen is a werewolf, and that he goes deep into the forest when he knows a transformation's coming on so he doesn't harm anybody. He's hopeful she's still alive, while his sister-in-law (Margrit) fears she may have been killed in the nearby woods. His wife's gone missing, and he asks Geralt to find her. This is the quest you pick up from Niellen the Hunter, in Velen.
